For many years Bearded Kitten built and ran an area called South Beach at FIB Festival in Benicassim. The area included a sand filled dance area with built in swimming pools, a bar and a DJ booth. In 2018 Malibu got in touch as they were keen to use our space to bring the famous Malibu Games to Spain’s biggest festival. I worked with Malibu to design and create a ‘Malibu inspired’ south beach with new furniture and decor elements, a make-up booth and a selection of game areas. I designed the uniforms and then trained the Malibu performers once on site. Once the festival began I managed the Malibu staff and the games during the day, and our dancers and DJ’s during the evenings.
